Qureshi denies his statement of being removed from NICL case

Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Additional Director General Zafar Qureshi changed his statement regarding his removal from the probe of National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) case.Qureshi told the media that he had been told to stop probing the NICL case and submit all documents related with the case to FIA Islamabad Director Chaudhry Manzoor.When the news of his removal from the NICL case was aired on the media, Qureshi changed his statement, saying that he had been removed only from probing against former FIA Director General (DG) Wasim Ahmad and Lahore Director Inam Ghani.FIA DG Malik Iqbal said that Qureshi would continue to probe into the NICL case because the Supreme Court had appointed him as the investigation officer.
