Summary MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that their struggle aimed at providing basic rights to people
MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that their struggle aimed at providing basic rights to people and free the country from plunderers. He said that some biased elements, fearing the rising popularity of the MQM in Punjab, were spreading propaganda against the party. In a telephonic conversation with students who joined the MQM in Lahore, Altaf said that politicians talking about the poor were billionaires but he didn’t have any property in UK or US and had only one house in Azizabad, which he had owned before entering into the politics.
