Summary Shahid Masood was sent to Adiala Jail on judicial remand in a case pertaining to corruption in PTV.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A local court on Thursday sent former managing director (MD) of Pakistan Television (PTV) Dr Shahid Masood to Adiala Jail on a judicial remand in PTV corruption case, Dunya News reported.
The FIA presented him before a duty judge on Thursday after the completion of his five-day physical remand and requested an extension in his physical remand. However, the judge rejected the request and sent Dr Shahid Masood to Adiala Jail on a judicial remand.
Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had arrested Masood from the premises of the Islamabad High Court on November 23 after his bail plea had been rejected in the PTV corruption case.
