The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) chairman Rao Irshad Ali has said that Punjab’s quota has been decreased by 50 percent while Sindh’s quota will remain unchanged.Talking to Dunya News after a meeting on Friday, Rao Irshad said that Punjab’s quota had been curtailed from 33,000 cusecs to 18,000 cusecs daily while Sindh’s quota remained unchanged at 45,000 cusecs daily.He said that water shortage was temporary and it would end on April 17. He said that had there been new water reservoirs, the country would have one million acre feet water.
