ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A two-day international symposium on Creating a Water Secure Pakistan will begin in Islamabad today (Friday). The event will be held under the aegis of Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC).
The two-day symposium will be inaugurated by President Dr Arif Alvi while the concluding session will be chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.
Jurists and experts in water resource management and researchers from different countries will present their research papers in the symposium.
Themes pertaining to legal aspects of Indus Basin, construction and financing of dams and reservoirs and management of water resources will be discussed in the moot.
