Summary Schools reopened after a wait of almost 80 days in Karachi.
(WebDesk) – After spending almost 3 months relaxing at homes and spending time with friends in playgrounds, the children of Karachi are all set to make their way to educational institutes as schools reopen in the Provincial Capital.
Earlier the students were handed a ‘life line’ and a longer time to enjoy summer vacations as the government announced the schools to remain closed for a further 15 days owing to the elections. Now, the children, however, have to forget everything and make their way to schools and colleges to continue their studies and make everyone associated with them proud with their academic performances.

Like always, many children were reluctant to rejoin the schools since they didn’t want to get up early in the morning. For some, however, seeing their friends once again became a source of sheer joy and excitement.
"We have decided that this time we will party and study hard so that we enjoy and get good grades as well.", says an excited student. "I am really happy to rejoin school but I am sad as well. I do not know how to explain my feelings.", says another student with mixed feelings.

Alongside the children, the aged parents, too, had to set their alarm clocks for 7 am and get up in the wee hours of the morning to dress up their beloved children for school; a task that is painstaking to say the least.
The schools had remained closed since 14th May owing to harsh weather conditions but after a wait of nearly 75 days, schools finally reopened on Monday, 30th July, 2018.
