Summary On Monday, the LHC had acquitted Shah Hussain

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday took suo motu notice of the acquittal of medical student Khadija s attacker.

While taking notice, the CJP summoned record of the case from the Lahore High Court (LHC) at the apex court’s Lahore registry on June 10.

On Monday, the LHC had acquitted Shah Hussain, after giving him benefit of the doubt—the boy convicted by court for stabbing girl Khadija Siddiqui.

The decision was announced by LHC judge Justice Ahmed Naeem after hearing arguments from both parties.

It is worth here to mention that Shah Hussain had stabled Khadija at least 23 times on Lahore’s Davis Road. He was sentenced fiver year in imprisonment.

Previously, the attacker Shah Hussain had been sentenced to five years in jail by a trial court on charges of stabbing Khadija Siddiqui.
