Summary Punjab Secretary Health Fawad Hassan Fawad assured protesting doctors to increase their salaries.
On Sunday a 12-member delegation of protesting young doctors met with secretary health, the secretary told the delegation that the government had decided to increase the doctors’ salaries from 1st of July. He said that Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif would announce the pay package for the young doctors soon. He urged the doctors to postpone their strike to give a goodwill gesture to the public.It is pertinent to mention that the young doctors have been protesting from 20-days in the favour of their demands.
