Karachi Violence: Death toll reaches 16

Killing by unidentified persons reached to16 while 5 persons including a police official have been killed during last 8 hours.According to police, some unidentified persons gunned down Police Head Constable Arshad Kundi near Sohrab Goth. Ghulam Hussain was killed in firing on a political party office while Shafi injured.Meanwhile, unidentified persons gunned down a person who was identified as Ali Nawaz when his body was shifted to hospital and a bus was set ablaze in old Golimar area. A dead body of 26-year-old was recovered from Peoples Ground Mari Pur road while a person was shot dead by unknown motorcyclists in Moosa Lane. An office of a political party was attacked with hand grenades but no casualty occurred in the incident because the office was closed at that time.Citizen are in a state of fear due to rising death toll but police and the government have not taken measures to control the situation.
