Judiciary facing problems, says CJP

Summary The CJP appreciates Balochistan High Court for delivering in difficult times.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Saturday said that the judiciary was facing problems and these problems could be solved through mutual cooperation.Addressing the judicial officers in Quetta, the CJP said that performance of the Balochistan High Court (BHC) was satisfactory in these circumstances. He said that this strategy should be adopted in district courts to dispense the people with speedy justice.The CJP said that there were complaints of corruption in the lower courts staff, adding that the judges to identify such elements and take against them.Earlier, the CJP was presented a guard of honour in the BHC. The CJP was accompanied by BHC Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Inspector General of Balochistan Police, Malik Muhammad Iqbal.
