KARACHI (Dunya News) – The dead body of 17-year-old Sabika Sheikh—who was murdered in Texas school shooting incident—is expected to arrive at the Karachi airport in the next few hours, reported Dunya News.

Earlier, large number of members of Pakistani community, Pakistan Council General Aisha Farooqi, Mayor Houston and members of US Congress attended Sabika’s funeral in Texas.

Arrangements were also made for Quran Khwani for the departed soul at the mosque in Houston.

Sabika was among 10 people killed in the Texas’s Santa Fe High School shooting on Friday morning. Sabika was an exchange student with Youth Exchange and Study (YES) programme, which is funded by the U.S. State Department. It provides scholarships for secondary-school students from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend one academic year in the US.
