Summary Rana Sanaullah said that the victim families were responsible for Davis release.
Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the compensation for murder through blood money was legal and the people who received the money were responsible for Raymond Davis’ release.Addressing the media outside the Punjab Assembly, Sanaullah said that the United States understood the importance of the Islamic laws and used them wisely. He said that according to the law, the release of Davis was legitimate.Sanaullah said that the entire nation would have been grateful to the victim families had they placed Dr Aafia’s release as a condition for Davis’ release. Sanaullah added that the Punjab government and the people are ready to pay blood money for Dr Aafia’s release.
