Summary Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said that Raymond was released according to the law.
Addressing at the Gujrat University prize distribution ceremony, Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said that if families of deceased have no objection over Davis’s release then no one should protest. He said that Sharia allowed them to take blood money and both the families have taken blood money. He said that some element wanted to politicise the issue. He maintained that the families of the deceased had taken decision freely and no pressure was put them to sign the agreement.
