Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) sent about 2,500 workers of non technical staff in surplus poll. According to KESC Labour Union Chairman, the workers have been protesting against the KESC’s decision adding that the union has launched a campaign against the KESC’s decision to acquire the services of private companies. He said, “If the company does not with draw its decision, vide range protests will be held. He maintained that the company has not allotted duties to those employees who were restored their positions.
