ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government is all set to restrict National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) powers, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the PML-N government has prepared a bill to curtail NAB’s powers. Relevant sources informed that the bill will be promulgated through presidential ordinance.
Sources further informed that the accountability court will have authority to arrest any person instead of NAB chairman. Furthermore, NAB s authority will only be limited to the center and it will not be able to take any action in the provinces.
