The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) displayed ‘lotas’ in front of the Punjab Assembly on Friday to ridicule the ‘defectors’ who had decided to support the PML-N government in the province.The legislators, including Uzma Bukhari of the PPP, came out on a road before the start of the Punjab Assembly session and raised ‘lotas’ in the air. Later, they smashed ‘lotas’ in the assembly compound. On the occasion, female legislators wore finger rings with images of ‘lotas’.
