The second round of Pakistan Navy peace exercises have been started. Several countries, including Saudi Arabia, are taking part in the exercises. The AMAN-2011 naval exercise will help develop a common strategy in the participating forces to fight human and drug trafficking, and terrorism. Pak Naval Chief Admiral Nauman Bashir visited various foreign ships and was presented Guards of Honour. He also met the officials of other countries present at ships. The naval exercises are the third in a biannual series conducted off the Pakistani coast. The first drills were held in March 2007.
