Summary Reham Khan is set to release her autobiography ahead of General Elections 2018.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Reham Khan has claimed on Friday in an interview with an international media outlet that her autobiography could influence upcoming General Elections 2018.

In an interview with DW today, Khan said that her autobiography that is to be released ahead of elections this year is her honest account of her life and it was like scratching a wound to pen down bad phases in her life.

She claimed that female politicians are subjected to harassment in Pakistan. Women politicians are harassed within their political party as well as by opposition members.

“Women politicians in Pakistan have to deal with severe sexual harassment within their own parties and from their opponents,” Khan said.

She further leveled serve allegations saying: “Positions are given in return for sexual favors.”

While answering a question about her marriage with PTI chief Imran Khan in context of her upcoming book, Reham said that it was her account of life and tells the truth.

Reham also talked about the role of media in politics of Pakistan and said: "I am extremely sad to see the amount of money being poured into Pakistani media to buy [journalistic] mouthpieces. There is hardly any space for hardworking and honest journalists in Pakistan."
