Summary ECP will announce verdict of foreign funding case on March 12.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan has announced that the decision in Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) foreign funding case will be announced on March 12.
Chief Election Commissioner Justice Sardar Raza Khan said that commission members were busy in Senate elections due to which consultations could not be held, hence the delay.
PTI Secretary Finance Sardar Azhar Tariq said that they had submitted all details and documents in the court and hoped that truth would win.
Applicant Akbar S. Babar said that PTI had been hiding behind stay order for a long time. He said that he had submitted all the evidence against PTI in hope that Pakistani politics would be rid of monetary malpractices.
