The Customs authorities on Tuesday decided to question four principal appraisers and 12 appraisers in NATO containers case.The principal appraisers include Agha Muhammad Aslam, Sardar Ameen Farooqi, Nimatullah Alvi and Waseem Kazmi. The Customs Intelligence has tightened the noose around the officials involved in liquor smuggling and started investigation into the properties owned by them. A departmental action has been initiated against six suspended officers of deputy collector’s rank.These officers include Jamshed Ali Talpur, Engineer Habib Ahmed, Mona Iffat Baloch, Abdul Waheed Marwat, Samiul Haq and Yousaf Haider Orakzai.
