Summary Lawyers of Karachi have announced to observe Black Day against steps of March 9, 2007.
Sindh Bar Council’s Vice Chairman Iftikhar Javed Qazi, Karachi Bar’s President Muhammad Aqil, Pakistan Bar member Mehmoodul Hassan while addressing a combine press conference in the City Court said that day of March 9, 2007 was the blackest day in Pakistan’s history when a dictator Pervez Musharraf deposed the Chief Justice of Pakistan and tried to control the independent judiciary. The lawyers said that they would go to courts binding black arm bands.
