Summary Wildlife raided and recovered 7 partridges and 2 chukars from Empress Market Karachi. These birds were kept there for illegal sale, Dunya News reported.
According to Game Warden Karachi Shahabuddin, the sale of birds is prohibited as per the Wildlife Protection Ordinance.On information of illegal sale of birds, Wildlife Department team raided Empress Market and recovered 7 black partridges, 2 chukars and 1 brown partridge, while the shop keeper fled the scene.The Game Warden informed that the birds will be shifted to National Park.
