Summary Finance Ministry has decided to hold a combine meeting of all the provinces to review the tax collection and other important issues on monthly basis.
A meeting of all provincial finance ministers held under the chair of Federal Minister for Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh to discuss the NFC Award and other issues. Hafeez urged the provinces to take serious efforts to curtail expenditures on their part and in this regard they could follow the federal government. He said that the provinces would indicate the areas where there was the capacity for the broadening of tax and new avenues would be be indicated in this regard, adding that the releases of NFC were mandatory and they would be made precisely in accordance with the approved formula.
