KARACHI (Dunya News) - Farooq Sattar-led Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Tuesday annouced to hold intra-party election on February 18 instead of February 17, Dunya News reported.
The decision was made after taken after the chief election commissioner of the MQM-P’s election commission secretariat received hundreds of applications from the party workers demanding change of the intra-party election date.
A communique issued by the MQM-P said that the intra-party election now be held on Sunday (February 18) instead of Saturday.
On the other hand, MQM-P Bahadurabad faction led by Khalid Maqbool Sidiqui has summoned general workers convection on February 16.
