Summary Former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that farmers should pay agricultural tax and he would also play his role in this regard.
Addressing a general body meeting of the Formers Association in Lahore, Qureshi said that agricultural reforms needed in the 21st century to increase the yield. He said that exports have to be multiplied because only aid would not be enough to tackle the economic crunch.He said that taxes have to be increased to keep International Monetary Fund (IMF) at bay. He said that our own house has to be put on right direction to live respectfully. He said that agricultural development would be helpful for the economy of the country.
