Summary Annual matriculation examinations in Punjab are starting from Saturday, whereas hundreds of students

Dunya News reported that a large number of students in Punjab had not received their roll number slips. Incidents of issuing same roll number slips to multiple candidates have also been reported.Examination board official said that the students who had not received their roll number slips would be allowed to sit in the exam upon showing any proof of submitting an admission form. They would be given roll number slips and informed about their examination center within an hour, the official added.Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday, Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondry Education Chairman Akram Sheikh said that though students faced trouble due to the online process of enrolment, no student would miss the examination. He said that computerised enrolment system will help eliminating fake enrolments.The chairman told the media that 416,856 student are appearing in examination in the five districts fell in the jurisdiction of the Lahore board. The board has set up 624 examination centres for exams, he added.
