Summary Interior Minister Rehman Malik has again denied the presence of notorious private security firm, Blackwater, in Pakistan, saying stern action will be taken against its members if arrested by security agencies.
Talking to media in Islamabad, Malik said that minority affairs minister Shahbaz Bhatti’s assassination was a brutal act. He said that security had been put on high alert in the red zone of Islamabad. He said that all key personalities and ministers would be provided foolproof security.He said that India had given conditional permission to the Pakistani judicial commission to meet Ajmal Kasab while India had also requested Islamabad to allow their commission to visit Pakistan in the Kasab’s case. Malik said that a crackdown would be launched against all illegal immigration agents and consultants across the country.
