Summary The Meteorological Department of Pakistan has predicted more rain in Murree, Galyat, Neelum Valley, Swat Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while snowfall is predicted on the mountain tops. On the other hand, thunderstorms, rain and snowfall on the mountain tops have been predicted in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, the upper region of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the next 24 hours.
Rain in various parts of the country and snowfall on the mountains was reported in the past 24 hours. A record, 98 millimeters of rain was recorded in Ghari dupatta whereas Kakul had 45millimeters, Rawalkot had 41 millimeters, Balakot had 38 millimeters, Khuzdar had 33 millimeters, Kalat had 32 millimeters, Muzaffarabad had 25 millimeters and Panjgur had 12millimeters of rain.Chaklala and Barkhan had 11 millimeters, Kalam had 10 millimeters and Dir had 9 millimeters of rain. Risalpur, Quetta, Saidpur and Chakwal had 7 millimeters of rain. Malam Jabba, Golrah and Rawalpindi had 6 millimeters of rain. On the other hand, Malam Jabba had 3 inches of snowfall and Skardu had 0.6inches of snowfall. The lowest temperature was recorded in Astore at -7degree centigrade.
