Summary FO told that they are investigating the shoes, adding that all her jewellery was returned

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Foreign Office spokesperson rejected Indian claims of mistreated with the family of convicted spy Kulbhushan Jadhav during the specially arranged meeting for humanitarian gesture.

FO stated that there was something in the shoes of Jadhav’s wife, adding that her shoes were confiscated for security reasons. It was told that she was given replacement shoes while all her jewellery was returned.

Dr. Faisal, the FO spokesperson, told that India initiated false propaganda after the meeting which is baseless. He rejected the Indian allegations regarding Jadhav’s meeting with family. “We don’t want to indulge in meaningless debate with India. Our transparency negates Indian allegations,” he said.

It was mentioned that the Indian Deputy High Commissioner was free to inform the media if there were any such circumstances. The fact is that Jadhav’s mother thanked Pakistan for arranging the meeting on humanitarian grounds, he added.

Indian media created fuss over the seizure of shoes of Kulbhushan Jadhav’s wife ahead of the meeting with the RAW spy in Pakistan, which has created suspicion on whether there was anything unusual found in them.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) questioned on Tuesday that why the shoes of Jadhav’s wife, Chetankul, were not returned after the meeting. “For some inexplicable reason, despite her repeated requests, the shoes of the wife of Shri Jadhav were not returned to her after the meeting,” MEA said in its statement. It is now suspected that there was something unusual found in the shoes for which they were seized by the authorities in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan. The shoes were not returned even after the meeting concluded which hints that there is some secret concerned with them.
