Learning of their children’s culpable viewpoints, they were barred from seeing each other and maintaining a contact, however, the two eloped to Karachi, denying the restrictions.

Saman’s mother has lodged a First Information Report (FIR) with police alleging that Kiran kidnapped her daughter. Reportedly, Saman has expressed a wish before a court to be shifted to Darul Amaan (women s shelter home) and not her residence in Gujrat.

According to the statements recorded before the police, Saman was being forced to marry a suitor chosen by her family whom she had disapproved of which is why Kiran helped her get rid of the pressure and they arranged to leave.
