KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQMP) chief Dr Farooq Sattar has demanded immediate release of women detainees belonging to the London chapter of the political party on Saturday.

In his speech, he said that what unfolded earlier in the day today at Liaquat chowk in Karachi should not have happened. MQM-P chief demanded immediate release of the women workers detained in clashes with police today.
While addressing participants of the meeting, he said that the party has met success owing to the sacrifices rendered by its workers.
Dr Sattar said that martyrs’ monument does not belong to one person but the people.
