Summary Chief Minister Shabaz Shairfs summary on the removal of PPP ministers from the Punjab cabinet has been received in the governor house.
The summary sent to the governor by Shabaz Sharif requests the immediate removal of seven PPP cabinet members. The governor according to the constitution has 15 days to object to the summary and send it back to the Chief Minister. On the other hand, the chief minister can remove those objections and send the summary back to the governor. In this case the governor will have no choice but to approve the summary.According to provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah, signatures of the Chief Minister were present on the summary after which the PPP ministers were no longer the cabinet members and on top of that the governor does not have the power to disallow the request.
