The daily wagers working on berths of Port Qasim authority are protesting against the management. The daily wagers demanded that a Dock Labour Bureau should be formed on PQA like KPT.The protesters said that the daily wagers were issued Dock Cards by Port Qasim Authority in 1986, but after shifting berths to the companies by the government, the contactors took hold of these berths. They have lost their work due to this situation, the protesting daily wagers said.
