Summary Pakistan Army posts are effectively engaging Indian troops.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - At least two children were killed on Wednesday from Indian army’s unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Rawalakot and Chirikot sectors.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian army targeted civil population of villages Kakuta, Chaffar, Serian and Narakot. Mortar rounds hit house of a civilian Sakhi Kayani in village Chaffar. Resultantly, his two children embraced martyrdom.
Pakistan Army posts are effectively engaging Indian troops. ISPR reports of three Indian soldiers killed five injured from the retaliatory fire.
Moreover, the Indian posts have also suffered heavy damage. Intermittent firing is currently underway from both the sides.
Earlier, Indian forces subjected to ceasefire violations in Rukh Chakri and Rawalakot Sectors on September 30 and October 2, resulting in the killings of three civilians and injuries to five others, including a woman. Despite calls for restraint, India continues to indulge in ceasefire violations.
In 2017 to date, Indian forces have carried out more than 900 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary, resulting in the killing of 43 innocent civilians and injuries to 153, as compared to 382 ceasefire violations in 2016.
