A large breach was occurred in the historical Tori Bund when floods wrecked havoc. The work was started on it after 6 months that dacoits attacked the staff of the contractor in the night over refusal of paying extortion. A large number of villagers reached there and fought with dacoits and forced them to flee the scene. Police and rangers also reached the spot and set up check points there.
