Summary Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that people of NA-120 will get access to clean drinking water once she wins
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek Insaf’s (PTI) candidate for NA-120 by-poll Dr. Yasmin Rashid on Friday said that if people put her in power, she will strive to get clean drinking water, hospitals and schools for the people of NA-120, reported Dunya News.
She was addressing a PTI rally at Qurtaba Chowk in the wake of NA-120 by-polls scheduled for September 17.
While addressing the crowd she alleged that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) is trying to buy votes in the constituency. “Maryam shouldn’t be worried, people of NA-120 will vote for PTI,” she asserted.
She said that she is not just fighting against one candidate but against the whole Punjab government and ‘watchman’ prime minister. “Due to election, PML-N has started doing development work in NA-120, announcing 6000 jobs is pre poll rigging,” she maintained. She further said that all women in the constituency pray for Imran Khan.
Dr. Rashid challenged Maryam Nawaz for an open debate, she asserted that she will reveal in the debate why her father was disqualified.
While speaking in Punjabi language, Dr. Rashid said that Nawaz Sharif was befuddled about the choice of candidate. “Maryam says she will go to every street to ask for votes, but we have already asked everyone for their vote,” she asserted.
PTI candidate said that Maryam should stop fooling people. “Got to the streets without protocol, then you will find the issues faced by the people,” she said while addressing Maryam Nawaz.
She said that Nawaz Sharif didn’t do anything for the people of NA-120 in the three times he was elected. “In 30 years Nawaz Sharif didn’t make a single hospital, he was busy filling his own pockets,” she said. “Problems faced by people of NA-120 befuddle me.”
