LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Friday thanked Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) for supporting Dr. Yasmin Rashid in the NA-120 by-poll, reported Dunya News.
While talking to the media along with Dr. Yasmin Rashid, PTI chief emphasized that NA-120 by-poll are of extreme importance. He said that PTI has strived hard during the course Panama case to get in to this position.
According to details, when Khan reached Lahore to address a procession in Lahore, he stopped at MWM’s party office and met with their leaders.
MWM leaders affirmed their support of Dr. Yasmin Rashid in the NA-120 by poll. “One and a quarter years and many lies later it was revealed that Sharif family doesn’t have any evidence or money trail,” Khan said.
Khan asserted that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is trying to build a false narrative that the nation has rejected the panama case verdict.
“This is an election between two ideologies, this election will decide whether people want a country where justice prevails or a country where thieves are protected,” he asserted.
