Summary Multan: Nurses of Nishtar Hospital staged a protest against the cut in salaries up to 40 percent, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to Nursing Staff Association President kalsoom Rafique, the Punjab government has slashed their salaries up to 40 percent after issuing the notification of permanent. She said that reduction in salaries has made difficult to manage their budget.Nurses also said that they belong to far flung areas and in the present salary they are unable to manage their hostel dues. They urged the government to withdraw the decision of cut in salaries. The president said that nurses will continue protest till the acceptance of their demands.
