Summary Saad Rafique said nobody has the right to silence politicians, Sharifs didn’t criticise judiciary

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said on Thrusday that Nawaz Sharif is considering to leave for London after Kulsoom Nawaz was diagnosed with throat cancer, reported Dunya News.

Rafique said that announcing development funds in NA-120 and using government machinery for election campaign is uncalled for, adding that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should take back its decision of disallowing speeches of political leaders during NA-120 election campaign.

While talking to the media about Lahore High Court’s decision to ban broadcast of anti-judiciary speeches, he said that we have always respected judiciary but we hold the constitutional right to criticize any court decision. “Nobody can silence politicians, it is not the right thing,” he told.

Rafique welcomed former Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo’s son Asad Junejo on joining Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
