Summary Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned his Indian counterpart Chidambaram and thanked him for the release of Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who was detained by the Indian authorities at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International airport on Sunday.
Rehman Malik also hoped that his counterpart will also help Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in future. Malik also directed Pakistan envoy to India to take steps for the return of the singer to Pakistan soon.
