Summary Talks between Railways Administration and employees remained successful after which they ended their protest on the assurance of getting salaries on time. Earlier, Protesting Railways employees did not let 30 locomotives to be conjoined with trains.
The workers said that they were not paid on time and facing severe financial crisis. If they were not paid on time, they would stage a sit-in on railway tracks and freeze the function of the Railways.Negotiating the protesting workers, Railways authorities have assured the workers that their salaries will be released in three days. However, the workers have threatened to intensify the protest, if their demands would not be met.
