Summary A special team of Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif investigated the matter of wood theft in the forests in Bahawalnagar. Case has been registered against 2 SDOs and 10 employees of Forest Department.
The CM took the notice of the issue over complaints of the locals and constituted a team to probe the issue. It is proved in the investigations that Rs 16 crore wood was stolen from Bahawalnagar forests and the case has been registered against 2 SDOs and 10 employees of the Forest Department.
