Summary Former Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Hamid Saeed Kazmi said that Azam Swati was spending a lot of money on FIA to get him arrested, though no development was made on the corruption charges against him in the court.

During a press conference at his residence in Multan, Kazmi said that the Chief Justice of Pakistan himself admitted that judiciary was not fully corruption-free but no one was asking them to resign. He said that he wasn’t involved in the corruption in Hajj affairs but raids on his house were being made on political basis. He said that he had only 20,000 pounds in one account and Rs 272,000 in other account and out of it 80 percent money was of his brother’s. He said that Azam Swat and Umar Ali Khan Sherzai put allegations of corruption on him and Swati doesn’t have good reputation too. He said that PM Gilani’s son was also allegedly involved in Hajj corruption and he doesn’t have any information about the meeting of Abdul Qadir and Rao Shakeel.
