Summary Indian high commissioner to Islam Abad said that Indian authorities had not arrested Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh ALI Khan, there for he could not be allowed to meet Pakistani consul.
The high commissioner said that access to consul is given after one is formally arrested. Hence, the Pakistani consul could be allowed to meet the singer after latter’s arrest.The high commissioner added that Pakistani singer had violated the Indian Foreign Currency Exchange Act and his sponsors and show organizers could also be held.
