(Web Desk) – Pakistan Army has registered a strong response against the repetition of Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire violations by Indian forces in the occupied valley by killing their five soldiers.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Indian soldiers targeted civilians as well as Pak Army posts at Nezapir, Sabzkot and Kayani sectors along the control line which resulted in several deaths and injuries. The soldiers responded to the loss of precious lives by not only silencing the Indian guns but also killing five of their armed men.

DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said, "Unprovoked cease fire violations shall always be responded strongly, aggressive and effectively by Pakistan Army".

The Indian army targeted check posts of Pakistan Army and martyred one soldier while critically injuring two. Moreover, five innocent civilians in Azad Jammu and Kashmir lost their lives with at least two injured.

The befitting response of Pak Army soldiers destroyed Indian posts, according to ISPR. Earlier today, Islamabad had summoned the Indian Deputy High Commissioner to protest against unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian troops at LoC on July 18 which resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians.

The residents of Kashmir on both sides of LoC along with the rest of world observed ‘Accession to Pakistan Day’ which is celebrated every year on July 19. People of the occupied valley have pledged their allegiance with Pakistan and plan to continue their struggle for the freedom from Indian forces.
