ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) is set to resume hearing of disqualification case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on July 11 and notices have been issued to the litigants.
Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar is to lead the three-member bench that is set to hear the case against PTI chief.
The hearing was adjourned on June 14 until after Eid-ul-Fitr vacation over Naeem Bukhari and bench’s unavailability. Haneef Abbasi, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had petitioned the top court alleging Khan of having concealed his assets to evade tax, misrepresent the facts and obtain funds from prohibited means.
The petitioner has urged the apex court to disqualify Khan.
