Summary The employees of private airlines have also announced to support the PIA employees in the ongoing protests. The protest of PIA employees for their due rights is still continued; where as the employees of other airlines will also join them in protest.
PIA’s flight 3092 enroute to Karachi from Islamabad could not take off. Talking to media in Karachi, representative of Joint Action Committee T M Rabbani said that we will continue our protests until the cancellation of Turkish Airline pact, restoration of suspended pilots and removal of MD Ejaz Haroon. While on the other side, PIA’s MD has invited PALPA and SAP for briefing on PIA and Turkish Airline issue.According to PIA spokesperson, MD PIA has appealed to PALPA and SAP that due to their protests, PIA passengers are facing lots of problems; therefore they must end protests in order to maintain the dignity of PIA.
