Summary In the area of Sheeren Jinnah colony, Karachi, dacoits injured 2 persons when they tried to resist. When police reached the site, a shootout between police and dacoits began due to which 1 dacoit was killed.
According to Boat Basin police station, 4 dacoits entered a house in Sheeren Jinnah Colony and started looting everything. When the residents resisted in front of dacoits, they opened fire and injured Haji Khair Mohammad and Shams ul Haq. Soon after this incident when the dacoits were escaping, suddenly police arrived and exchange of firing took place.During this shootout, one of the dacoits got killed who has been identified as Fazal Akbar. Police recovered a pistol and a mobile phone from the dacoit killed. The dead body of this dacoit was later sent for post-mortem.
