Summary Premier’s son has been ordered to file record and record statement in the probe on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to investigate Panama Leaks has ordered son of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz to reappear tomorrow (Tuesday) citing that he neither answered the questions nor put forth the record.

The JIT has stated that he is needed to reappear tomorrow to meet the prerequisites of what provision of justice entails in the issue. Premier’s son has been ordered to file record and record statement in the probe on Tuesday.

According to the notice issued, Hussain Nawaz was served the final notice on May 25 to make an appearance on May 28 however. However, he is not cooperating in the probe despite shortage of time, according to the JIT.

On April 20, Supreme Court (SC) had released its reserved verdict after around a four-month-long trial over Panama Leaks.

Earlier today, the apex court rejected Nawaz’s reservations and stated that no member of the JIT, constituted to probe Sharif family’s offshore assets, would be altered.

The special bench of the apex court comprising Justice Ejaz Afzal, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed and Justice Ijazul Hassan heard the case on Monday.

According to details, SC further directed Panamagate JIT to continue probe as per law and reiterated to take the much hyped case to its logical end. Expressing exasperation over objections, SC inquired whether Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif would appoint members for probing the Panama Leaks Case.
