LAHORE (Dunya News) – Scorching heat has continued to irk locals as the temperature is likely to rise in plain areas of the country.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the mercury will rise up to 45 degrees in Lahore whereas it will escalate to 47 degrees in Rahim Yar Khan, Bhakkar, Multan, Bahawalpur and other adjoining areas.
The searing weather is on peak in Jacobabad, Larkana, Dadu, Sukkur, Nawabshah and Noorpur Thal with 49 degrees while mainly dry and hot weather is expected in Karachi.
Different cities in Balochistan including Sibbi, Turbat and Nasirabad are also facing severe heat.
However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at a few places in Hazara division, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas.
